AI and Cyberwar: Facing the Next Level

This event revealed our critical dependence on space infrastructure and foreshadowed an even bigger upheaval to come. Today, artificial intelligence is radically transforming cyberwarfare. ANSSI predicts that within two years, 80 to 100% of cyberattacks will be AI-augmented. Autonomous hacking agents, pure science fiction in 2024, are becoming reality. Amid rising geopolitical tensions and the race for digital sovereignty, we are on the brink of a change of an entirely new magnitude. How can we protect our critical infrastructure against this massification and increasing sophistication of threats? Is the international legal framework suited to autonomous, untraceable attacks?
