Conclusion and final word: How can we nurture this convergence through innovation?

With Guillaume Mortelier, David Gal-Regniez Thinkink about the convergence between the cultural and creative industries (CCI) and the manufacturing industries is to ignore a split between worlds that no longer need to exist. While the CCI obviously remain strongly linked to culture, the industrial players in these same CCI have contributed and continue to contribute strongly to the digital transition of manufacturing industries. The video game industry, which is natively digital, has been one of the main players in this transformation. The Kinect developed by Microsoft has had a major impact on research into robotics, and video game engines are now essential tools for virtual reality, 3D modelling and animation of digital twins, simulators and other visualisation tools for educational, communication and marketing purposes. In-depth, concrete exchanges (feedback, prototypes, etc.) between the CCIs and industry should also be encouraged. The textile industry, which also has strong links with the fashion sector, is a dynamic sector at the heart of this convergence. Finally, digital data and, more specifically, content of varying degrees of complexity (image, sound, text, video, animation, music, video games, etc.), which make up the heritage of today's and tomorrow's companies, represent a wealth on which companies must draw in order to expand their offer and services. Vogo Group and Digigram will share their experiences and stories.
